Todd Franks
Todd Franks was born in 1972 and raised in Trenton, Michigan. He graduated from Michigan State University in 1996 receiving a Bachelor of Science degree. In 1999 Todd started his real estate career as an Appraiser?s Assistant, although given his background and previous career, where he tripled his territory?s sales for a 3M distributor; he soon realized his talents would be better applied to Commercial Brokerage. In March of 2000, Todd joined The Cantrell Company as a Broker, continuing the company?s philosophy of representing sellers. Over the years, Todd has been directly involved in either the listing and/or selling side of approximately 100 multi-family property transactions, as well as other commercial property sales. Todd has developed a niche in selling both stabilized and distressed B & C-class properties. Approximately 75-80% of his transactions involved exclusive representation of the seller. In 2001, 2006 & 2008 Todd was recognized by The Cantrell Company for outstanding sales performance, with special recognition in 2002, 2004, 2005 and 2007 as the Company?s Top Producer. Todd?s list of clients include: Trammel Crow Residential Development, INCAP Fund, Aspen Square Management, Orix Capital Markets, La Jolla Bank, Imperial Bank, Midland Loan Services as well as numerous Lenders, Servicers, Partnerships and individual owners. Todd is involved with several governmental volunteer organizations, one being Chairman of the Board for the Vickery Meadows Economic Development division. He also currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Vickery Meadows Public Improvement District. Todd was formerly on the board of the Multi-family Property Standards committee. Professional affiliations include: CCIM Candidate, North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR), North Texas Association of Realtors, Houston Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors.

Mark J. Cantrell
Mark Cantrell was born in 1960 and raised in McKinney, Texas. He graduated from Baylor University in 1982, receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance. Upon graduation, he was employed with a leading office equipment company selling copier systems where he was the top salesman both years of employment. In January of 1984, Mark joined Marcus & Millichap. From 1989 through 1996, he was recognized for outstanding sales performace, with special recognition in 1990 as the Company's #3 Earner out of approximately 400 total nationwide agents. From 1990 through 1996, he was the top overall producer in earnings and sales volume in the company's three Texas offices. In February, 1997, Mark, along with his brother, Tim, founded The Cantrell Company to provide the highest level of real estate services to enhance both the profitability and the value of their clients' properties. Throughout his career, Mark has been directly involved in either the listing and/or selling side of over 300 apartment sales as well as other commercial property sales. Approximately 75-80% of his transactions involved exclusive representation of the seller.

Sam W. Pettigrew, III
Sam Pettigrew's real estate experience includes brokerage, acquisition, disposition, and asset and property management of multi-family and retail properties in Dallas/Fort Worth, Atlanta, Tulsa, Phoenix, and Galveston. Sam's focus at The Cantrell Company is investment sales for various local, national and international investors. After graduation from the University of North Texas in 1997 with a business degree in real estate, he joined the firm of NorthMarq Capital, Inc., where he remained until 1999. His interests in multi-family led him to Suncase Corporation, a local owner/operator of multi-family properties. At Suncase Corporation, he was responsible for acquisitions and dispositions culminating in $54 million in transactions. He was also responsible for all areas of the property management and asset management of Suncase's portfolio. In 2004, Sam left Suncase to work for Meridian Realty Advisors, Inc. where he headed asset management for the firm's multi-family and retail properties. He was responsible for the disposition of $79 million of real estate during 2005. In late 2005 he joined Magellan Commercial Realty, Inc. as Vice President of investment sales where he represented numerous sellers of multi-family assets. In addition, Sam is, and has been, a principal of multi-family and land assets in the DFW area. Thomas M. Hooke, Jr.
Associate
Thomas Hooke, a native to Dallas, is an Investment Sales specialist for The Cantrell Company. He currently assists a roster of small to mid-sized property owners and private investors. Thomas' focus is on Class B and C investment properties throughout all markets of Dallas/ Ft. Worth. Prior to joining The Cantrell Company, Thomas worked at Magellan Commercial Realty, Inc. as an Associate Broker where he was involved with numerous transactions representing both Seller?s and Purchaser?s. After graduating from Texas Tech University with a Marketing degree, Thomas chose a career path that closely mirrored that of his family. The Hooke family has created an extremely successful residential real estate brokerage business in Houston and its surrounding environs. Thomas is a resident of Dallas. He enjoys spending his spare time outdoors while engaging in running, fishing, and improving his golf handicap.

Tim L. Cantrell
Managing Director
Tim L. Cantrell is one of the founders of The Cantrell Company as well as being active in several related real estate companies. He is a founder of Cantrell McCulloch, Inc., specializing in property tax consulting; Monticello Asset Management, Inc., a full-service, multi-family property management company; and Fidelity Building and Construction, providing apartment renovation services. At The Cantrell Company, he assists in business development and strategic planning. Mr. Cantrell's real estate career began with sixteen years at Marcus & Millichap where he earned numerous awards and designations, with the highest recognition received in 1991 as the number one producer in the nation. Prior to his real estate career, Tim was a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) employed by KPMG, one of the nation's largest accounting and consulting firms. He graduated magna cum laude from Baylor University in 1977.

Sharon Johnson
Sharon Johnson has over fifteen years experience in the real estate industry, having been employed by two of the top-five real estate firms in the country. She was part of the original team when The Cantrell Company formed in February of 1997. Her duties include managing all daily office operations. She brings a level of organization to the firm that allows our commercial brokers to conduct their daily activities in an efficient manner. Sharon has a strong belief in the integrity of The Cantrell Company and shows on a daily basis her determination and ability to keep it running smoothly and efficiently.
